Problem Statement/Definition:

PohlmanUSA was running a web based Production application in Amazon Web Services (AWS), and PohlmanUSA selected Connectria to monitor, manage and provide HIPAA compliance 24/7 in order to free up time and resource so they can focus on delivering software.

Proposed Solution & Architecture:

AWS Assessment, AWS Consulting Services, AWS Best Practice Review, Project Management and AWS Managed Services.  The Production environment managed by Connectria will consists of approximately, twelve (12) Production Windows & Linux EC2 instances with MS SQL Server/RDS  in a VPC.  All Production instances are dedicated and will require HIPAA compliant management from Connectria.

Outcomes of Project:

Scalability, Elasticity and Cost Containment.  Time savings of over 75%. On-going AWS Managed Services so PohlmanUSA can focus on advancing their product development.

Lessons Learned:

PohlmanUSA can effectively focus on advancing their software development because of partnering with Connectria for cloud management and best practices.  AWS provides a scalable and cost saving environment to be able to be competitive in the advancing Healthcare market.
