#ConnectriaContest: IT Goes Green

We love IT. We also deeply care about the environment. That’s why we were thrilled to come across the place pictured below. It was love at first sight.

As you can see, this place is outfitted with reused materials, repurposed wood and refurbished machinery. The unique pastel colored tables were acquired from an old warehouse in North City in St. Louis and cost a fraction of what similar new ones would be. Hundreds of people come through this place every day. They sit down for a minute or spend hours hanging out at these tables. Not many of the patrons here realize what they are really putting their notebooks, laptops and elbows on.

Here’s where our contest comes in:

What exactly ARE these tabletops made of? Do some research, call a friend or Google it and submit your best guess via Twitter or Facebook. On Twitter, you’ll need to follow @Connectria and tweet us using our handle and the hashtag #ConnectriaContest. On Facebook, like the Connectria Hosting page and post a comment to our wall under the photo you see above.

All correct answers will win a No Jerks Allowed shirt, sticker and magnet. Hurry up and guess – the contest closes on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. ET!

Bonus question for an additional prize: Where were these photos taken?
