Keeping Up with Connectria: 1H 2015 Wrap Up

It’s been a busy few months here at Connectria. From launching our No Jerks Allowed store to announcing our HIPAA compliant solution on AWS at HIMSS — 1H15 has been chock full of activity here in St. Louis. We can’t wait to see what the rest of summer has in store for us, but in the meantime, take a look at what we’ve been up to recently.

Awards and Recognition
Early in the year, Connectria was recognized by CRN as a Hosting 100 Provider, a top 500 Managed Service Provider (MSP) and a Solution Provider 500.  June proved to be an even more exciting month as we celebrated the repeat of two major awards.  For the second consecutive year, Connectria was named to the Computerworld Best Places to work in IT list – advancing by 5 slots over last year.  Finally, we learned that we’d been named as one of the St. Louis Post Dispatch Top Workplaces for the third year!  This is an especially unique distinction in that it is based solely on employee feedback.  We’re proud of the culture that we’ve all worked to develop over the years and excited to see it gain recognition in our community.

No Jerks Allowed Store
In March, we launched the No Jerks Allowed webstore following the announcement of the website dedicated to our No Jerks Allowed movement, www.nojerksallowed.com. Be sure to visit www.nojerksstore.com to browse all of the cool merchandise. Tweet us a picture of you sporting your NinJA swag using the hashtag #NoJerksAllowed — we’d love to hear from you!

World Backup Day
Did you know that March 31st was World Backup day? This year, we made sure to remind our readers of how important it is to take a moment to consider the backup of their personal and corporate data. Our CEO, Rich Waidmann, stressed the importance of having a backup and disaster recovery plan in a slideshow in IT Business Edge. Take a look for tips to avoid downtime and mark your calendar for next year.

HIPAA Compliance on AWS
We traveled to Chicago in April for HIMSS15, the largest health IT event in the industry. It was an action-packed week — including the announcement of our HIPAA Compliant Managed Services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We’re thrilled to provide our customers a turnkey approach to achieving and maintaining HIPAA Compliance on AWS in addition to all of our other managed services.

National Volunteer Week
April 12-18 marked National Volunteer Week, which celebrates the contributions that millions of nationwide volunteers make to better their communities. At Connectria, we encourage employees to pursue charitable endeavors through the Connectria Community Initiatives Committee (CCIC). We are honored to have so many employees who regularly volunteer their time — take a look at some of the great causes they support.

Thanks for a great year so far! Keep up with us in real time by subscribing to our blog and following us on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. In the meantime, happy summer!
