The 2016 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition brings together 40,000+ health IT professionals, clinicians, executives, and vendors from around the world. More than 300 education programs feature keynotes, thought leader sessions, roundtable discussions, and e-sessions, plus preconference symposia and workshops.
Connectria will be exhibiting again this year (Booth 12222) and we’re excited to connect with other IT professionals and industry leaders, as well as current and potential business partners. We wanted to share just a few of the items from our must-see list for this year’s conference:
- The new exhibitor area is always among our first stops as it’s a good indicator of what trends are emerging in the industry and what people are going to be interested in. There’s a lot of great energy and thinking from the various startups and newer players, and it really helps to set the tone for the week.
- The Innovation Symposium on the 29th is sure to be a favorite. We love getting to brainstorm with like-minded professionals on ways to enable our customers to adapt to and innovate within an ever-changing but tightly regulated environment. It’s inspiring to see how others are approaching the complex challenges of improving patient care and access while protecting the security of patient data.
- Finally, we always look forward to the Interoperability Showcase. It’s fascinating to observe some of the newer devices and applications at play, and an opportunity to really take in just how far things have evolved. It is truly remarkable the strides healthcare providers and application services have made in integration and the exchange of secure health data. It can be eye-opening (and entertaining) to watch the different participants engage in live, interoperability testing and problem resolution within real-life situations.
Here’s to hoping we get to see you in Vegas! Be sure to stop by and grab some swag, including something extra if you take our short HIPAA survey. In the meantime, check out our HIPAA Compliant Hosting solutions, including HIPAA on AWS. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions.
