Connectria's Chris Miller to Speak About Advanced LDAP Infrastructure Design at Lotusphere 2005

ST. LOUIS, MO (December, 13 2004) - Chris Miller, Director of Messaging and Collaboration for Connectria, has been selected to speak at Lotusphere 2005. Chris is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional (PCLP) in ND6, R5, R4, and Collaboration; and a Certified Lotus Instructor (CLI). He has been working with Domino administration since 1994 and is a frequent speaker at numerous conferences globally, including Lotusphere. Lotusphere is an annual IT industry conference covering IBM Lotus products. In its 12th year, Lotusphere 2005 take will take place in Orlando, Florida from January 23-27.

Chris Miller's session at Lotusphere 2005 will cover Advanced LDAP Infrastructure Design. This session will fall under the Best Practices track which will cover best practices in the areas of Lotus development, administration and business management - delivered by technology experts and industry gurus. This track is geared towards Business and IT managers, application developers, system administrators and integrators.

Session Abstract for Advanced LDAP Infrastructure Design (Updated!!): Integrated identity management is the key to integrated collaborative systems. One way to implement this is integrating external LDAP-compliant directories into your collaborative infrastructure. This session explores the benefits of and techniques for putting external LDAP directories to work with the IBM software products, including Workplace, Websphere, Domino, Quickplace, Lotus Instant Messaging and others. The session will focus on management, security, architecture and ease of design. LDAP directories such as Active Directory, iPlanet and IBM Directory Server and more will be used as examples.
