The annual Inc. 5000 includes companies with reported aggregate revenue of $214 billion and median three-year growth of 126 percent. In order to qualify for the annual Inc. 5000, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2008.
