How long any company can afford to be without their IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) Server varies from business to business. In order to support the entire spectrum, Connectria offers two unique solutions to provide IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) Disaster Recovery services: Dedicated IBM Power Systems servers and IBM Power Systems Subscription Services.
As part of our IBM Power Systems Managed Hosting, Connectria provides Dedicated IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) servers for both production processing as well as for disaster recovery environments that require fully replicated servers. A fully replicated environment provides the maximum ability to deliver a
"Zero Downtime" disaster recovery solution typically using a data replication product like MIMIX, Vision Suite, or iTera. But these solutions typically cost the same or nearly the same as an IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) production environment, and may not be cost-effective for every business.
For customers that can't justify a fully replicated environment, Connectria offers IBM Power Systems Subscription Services. Connectria's IBM Power Systems Subscription Services use Connectria's inventory of IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) servers to cost-effectively provide a system or partition within a defined timeframe for a fixed monthly fee. Connectria's IBM Power Systems Subscription Services are designed to provide immediate access to the recovery site in case of a declared disaster, with a system or partition configured to be of equal to or greater capacity than your current iSeries configuration.
Connectria's data centers where our IBM Power Systems (System i, iSeries, AS/400) environments are accessible around the clock and equipped with all of the necessary environmental controls, redundant power, UPS environments, security systems and network connectivity required to support a sophisticated IBM Power Systems environment. Wide area network connectivity options for automatic failover from our customers' production data centers to our disaster recovery centers include dedicated circuits, frame-relay circuits, MPLS connections, as well as Internet-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.

Fees
Connectria's IBM Power Systems Subscription Services are typically just a fraction of the cost of a customer's production environment. Pricing is based upon the configuration required.
