high-availability web environment to Southco, Inc, a privately held Pennsylvania
manufacturer. This solution will provide Southco's global clients with the ability to place orders, check order status,
and communicate with Southco's staff 24/7.
As part of this environment, Connectria will provide a
high availability web infrastructure consisting of dedicated Microsoft
Windows servers located in Connectria's St. Louis, Missouri, data center, and redundant
disaster recovery servers located in
Connectria's
Philadelphia data center. This high availability environment consists of
clustered Microsoft web servers running
Microsoft SQL Server databases connected to Connectria's high-performance Internet infrastructure and Storage Area Network
(SAN) to deliver both on-demand storage and on-demand Internet bandwidth for Southco.
Connectria will utilize its St. Louis-based 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) in conjunction with its sophisticated
enterprise monitoring tools to support Southco. Southco will have real-time visibility into its e-commerce environment
via Connectria's secure, customized web portal available as part of Connectria's standard offering. Southco will leverage
Connectria's redundant Internet and data center infrastructure, its 24x7 NOC, and its expertise in
