LOUIS, MO (August 30, 2005) - Connectria Corporation today announced that it will provide IBM iSeries (AS/400) hot-standby, high-availability disaster recovery hosting for Pliant Corporation using iTera's Echo High Availability (Echo HA) data replication software. Connectria is hosting Pliant's IBM iSeries (AS/400) Model 570 server at one of Connectria's enterprise-class data centers, and is configured in a hot-standby, high-availability failover configuration with Pliant's production IBM iSeries (AS/400) servers located at its corporate headquarters in Schaumberg, Illinois. Data is synchronized between Pliant's production system and the IBM iSeries (AS/400) Model 570 hosted by Connectria using iTera's Echo HA which provides data replication on a schedule determined by Pliant. Pliant's production server is a mission-critical environment that is used to run Pliant's manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States.
