CONNECTRIA CREATES DATA CENTER PROJECT TEAM
Connectria’s Managed Services revenues continue to
increase 50% year over year. In order to meet the
increasing demand for our services and ensure a
continued high level of service, Denny Hug,
Connectria’s Vice President of Data Center
Operations, has created a Data Center Projects team
to focus on successfully deploying new environments
for our customers. Denny will lead this group that
consists of senior members of Denny’s staff
including Susan Weis, Karen Scherer, and Anthony
Wingrove. This experienced group of IT professionals
will act as Project Managers for each engagement to
understand each customer’s requirements and manage
each step of the implementation process. For our
existing customers, this team brings a wealth of
knowledge about the currrent environment in order to
improve future deployments. For new customers, this
team will work with our regional account managers to
ensure effective communications between our
customers and our data center services group and
ensure that each project is successfully completed.
Over the first 60 days of operation, our customers
have benefited signifcantly from the efforts of this
group by shortening the implementation times and
improving communications between Connectria and our
customers. We look forward to continued success as
Susan, Karen and Anthony get to know each of our
customers better.

CONCERNED ABOUT EMAIL THREATS?
There are good reasons why you should be. As
reported in the June issue of TechNewsWorld.com,
instant messaging SPAM soared by 500% over the prior
month, and as much as 86% of all email messages were
considered malicious or SPAM. According to a recent
poll of IT executives, controlling the volume of
messages inside their organization is their #1
priority.
To assist our customers with this increasingly
complex problem, Connectria is pleased to announce
that we have partnered with Postini, the worldwide
leader in integrated messaging security solutions.
This relationship will enable Connectria’s customers
to combine their Lotus
Domino or Microsoft
Exchange Managed Services with a powerful
yet cost effective solution to prevent viruses, SPAM
and other email threats.
Postini is the recognized leader in effectively
stopping SPAM, phishing, viruses, directory harvest
attacks and other email threats through its
patented, multi-layer technology. No other vendor
provides such wide scope and in-depth protection
from email intrusions. As the incidence and severity
of email viruses has nearly tripled in past year
alone, Postini has consistently demonstrated
superior anti-virus capabilities.
