Connectria Private Cloud Servers Overview

Private Silver Cloud® Servers:
Connectria Private Silver Cloud® Servers deliver low-cost VMware Virtual Machines running on high-performance, standalone Dell PowerEdge servers. You are free to run whatever server configurations and software you want on your Private Silver Cloud® environments. You can provide your own VMware images (VMDK, OVF, OVA & VAPP Files), run off-the-shelf appliances from VMware's Partner Catalog, or Connectria can install and support Windows Server 2003/2008 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 4, 5 or 6) or CentOS 5.x or 6.x Linux.

You can run any Dell PowerEdge server platform that Connectria supports, and you can add more capacity in terms of processors, memory, and disk space as needed.

Private Gold Cloud® Servers:
Connectria Private Gold Cloud® Servers are designed for Software as a Service Hosting (SaaS Hosting), and other business-critical hosting environments where uptime is critical. Connectria Private Gold Cloud® Servers run VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus, including VMware HA (High Availability) & VMware VMotion. Connectria Gold Private Clouds utilize clustered Dell PowerEdge servers connected to a high-performance iSCSI Storage Area Network, where all Virtual Machines and their data reside. If any server fails, all virtual machines running on a failed server automatically restart on another server within the cluster - with no changes required to your applications or software!

Like Connectria Private Silver Cloud® Servers, you are free to run whatever software you want on your Private Gold Cloud® Virtual Machine(s), as long as your Operating System can run VMware Tools. So you can provide your own VMware images (VMDK, OVF, OVA & VAPP Files), run off-the-shelf appliances from VMware's Partner Catalog, or Connectria can install and support Windows Server 2003/2008 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 4, 5 or 6) or CentOS 5.x or 6.x Linux for you.

With Private Gold Cloud® environments, you can run any Dell PowerEdge server platform that Connectria supports, and you can add more capacity in terms of processors, memory, and Storage Area Network (SAN) disk space as needed.

Private Platinum Cloud™ Servers:
Connectria Private Platinum Cloud™ Servers are also designed for Software as a Service Hosting (SaaS Hosting), and other business-critical hosting environments where uptime is critical. Like Connectria Private Gold Cloud® Servers, Private Platinum Cloud™ Servers run VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus, including VMware HA (High Availability) & VMware VMotion. So if any server fails, all virtual machines running on a failed server automatically restart on another server within the cluster - with no changes required to your applications or software!

What makes Private Platinum Cloud™ Servers unique is that Connectria Private Platinum Cloud™ Servers are made up of two (2) sets of Dell PowerEdge server clusters running in two (2) different Connectria Data Centers. These Cloud environments are replicated from a primary environment to a secondary environment automatically. So if the primary environment is unavailable, the secondary environment will be brought online in order to deliver a pre-designed and pre-tested cloud disaster recovery solution.
