How long any company can afford to be without their iSeries (AS/400) Server varies from business to business. In order to support the entire spectrum, Connectria offers two unique solutions to provide iSeries (AS/400) Disaster Recovery services: Dedicated iSeries (AS/400) servers and iSeries (AS/400) Subscription Services.

As part of our iSeries AS400 Managed Hosting, Connectria provides Dedicated iSeries (AS/400) servers for both production processing as well as for disaster recovery environments that require fully replicated servers. A fully replicated environment provides the maximum ability to deliver a
"Zero Downtime" disaster recovery solution typically using a data replication product like MIMIX, Vision Suite, or iTera. But these solutions typically cost the same or nearly the same as an iSeries (AS/400) production environment, and may not be cost-effective for every business.

For customers that can't justify a fully replicated environment, Connectria offers iSeries (AS/400) Subscription Services. Connectria's iSeries (AS/400) Subscription Services use Connectria's inventory of iSeries (AS/400) servers to cost-effectively provide an iSeries (AS/400) system or partition within a defined timeframe for a fixed monthly fee. Connectria's iSeries (AS/400) Subscription Services are designed to provide immediate access to the recovery site in case of a declared disaster, with a system or partition configured to be of equal to or greater capacity than your current iSeries configuration.

Connectria's data centers where our iSeries environments are located are accessible around the clock and equipped with all of the necessary environmental controls, redundant power, UPS environments, security systems and network connectivity required to support a sophisticated iSeries (AS/400) environment. Wide area network connectivity options for automatic failover from our customers' production data centers to our disaster recovery centers include dedicated circuits, frame-relay circuits, MPLS connections, as well as Internet-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.

Fees
Connectria's iSeries (AS/400) Subscription Services are typically just a fraction of the cost of a customer's production environment. Pricing is based upon the configuration required.
