data center services
and
disaster recovery to users of the Transentric Services Platform. Specifically, Connectria will provide
Transentric with complete
IT Infrastructure monitoring and management
including approximately
25 servers running
technologies that include
HP-UX,
Oracle,
WebLogic, MQSeries,
Microsoft Windows,
Red Hat Linux, Checkpoint Firewalls,
EMC Storage Area Networks (SAN), a large Cisco powered Wide Area Network, and a sophisticated Internet Infrastructure.
These systems will be mirrored at an alternate Connectria data center with data replication being provided by Connectria
engineering and proprietary technology. Transentric will leverage Connectria's advanced Internet and data center
infrastructure, its expertise in cost-effective IT Disaster Recovery
environments, and its knowledge of these advanced
technologies from HP, Oracle, BEA, IBM, Microsoft, Redhat and Cisco.
Through the alliance, Connectria will enable Transentric customers to have enhanced 24-hour-a-day,
seven-day-a-week system monitoring, daily backup and restoration services, and operational monitoring of Transentric's
servers. The IT infrastructure support services include monitoring of communication links, enterprise backup facility,
secure data center facilities and managed firewall services. With these capabilities, Transentric will be able to offer its customers reliable and accurate Internet connectivity.
Transentric will benefit from Connectria's expertise in providing world-class data center services,
information technology consulting services and from its extensive relationships with telecommunications providers and
information technology solution partners worldwide, such as IBM, BEA, Microsoft and Oracle.
