Ranked Higher Than Amazon, Rackspace, Go Grid and Others within Longhaus Pulse® Australian Market Study

ST. LOUIS, MO. (March 17, 2011) - Connectria, a global managed hosting provider of cloud, dedicated server and complex hosting solutions, received high grades by Longhaus' 2011 Trusted Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud Providers Study.

Longhaus, a ICT research and advisory company, conducted a public vendor evaluation focused on trusted Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers to the Australian enterprise market. The study, utilizing the Longhaus Pulse' methodology, included detailed assessments among the top 58 identified providers against 60 individual criteria. The top 58 were then narrowed down to a short-list of 34 IaaS Cloud vendors evaluated against criteria including company performance, business model, technical merits of the solution and geographic commitment to Australia.

Connectria Hosting was ranked 9th out of the top 34 vendors, categorized by Longhaus as an "Outlying (Strong)" Challenger behind the market leaders. Connectria's favorable overall ranking was largely attributed to the strength of its Cloud Solution given the fact that it has no in-country presence within Australia.

Longhaus cited Connectria's strong service level commitments as a key solution advantage.

"We are pleased to have performed so well in the objective IaaS Cloud study by Longhaus," noted Connectria President and CEO, Rich Waidmann. "We are particularly enthused by our higher overall ranking than notable providers such as Amazon, Rackspace and Go Grid among others. We believe the Longhaus study affirms what we've known for the past several years - that Connectria is a strong and viable option for any enterprise interested in the Cloud."
