Connectria To Provide Lotus Domino & Blackberry Remote Administration To Swett & Crawford
ST. LOUIS, MO (February 2, 2006) - Connectria Corporation today announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Swett & Crawford to provide 24/7 Lotus Domino & Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) Remote Monitoring and Administration services. Swett & Crawford, a U.S.-based wholesale brokerage operation, was sold by AON Corporation in November of 2005 and is in the process of implementing a separate IT environment. Lotus Domino has been a long term messaging solution for Swett & Crawford and with the sale it needed to ensure that this mission critical Lotus Domino & Blackberry messaging environment would be transitioned and supported on a 24/7 basis.
Connectria will be responsible for transition of over 800 Lotus Domino user accounts and Domino databases from the current IT infrastructure within AON to the new IT infrastructure to be located within Swett & Crawford. As part of this engagement, Connectria will implement its MyAdmin Lotus Domino Remote Administration tools to provide 24/7 monitoring and remote administration of Swett & Crawford's Domino and BlackBerry environment from Connectria's world-class Network Operations Center (NOC). As a result of outsourcing Domino and Blackberry monitoring and administration, Swett & Crawford will be able to operate a higher performance, more reliable messaging environment at a lower cost. Swett & Crawford will leverage Connectria's advanced Network Operations Centers, as well as its expertise in IT infrastructure technologies from IBM, Lotus and Microsoft.
