About Connectria
Connectria provides cost-effective, customized IT outsourcing solutions to large and mid-sized organizations worldwide. In essence, what we've created is a highly skilled and responsive Commercial IT Department equivalent in size to what you might find in a $2 Billion company. We operate a network of fault- tolerant World Class data centers, 24/7 Network Operations Centers (NOC), and a custom engineering group that does custom infrastructure engineering and software development projects.

We're large enough to provide the sophisticated IT services you'd expect from a large "Mega Outsourcer", but small enough to provide the cost-effectiveness, flexibility and personal attention you need. We integrate our services as an extension of your IT organization in order to do the things you don't have time, money, expertise, or desire to take on. We completely customize our services to meet your exact requirements.

What We Do
We design, build and run complex IT Infrastructures (data centers, servers, networks, databases, applications) for large and midsized clients.
We provide IT Disaster Recovery for all platforms except IBM Mainframes.
We provide Business Continuity workspace in the central US.
We write and support sophisticated Infrastructure software, like transactional systems, scheduling systems, and e-commerce applications.

What We Don't Do
We don't outsource jobs to India. All of the work we do is done in the USA.
We don't provide PC desktop support unless it's part of a larger IT Infrastructure outsourcing engagement.
We don't provide end-user Help Desk support unless it's part of a larger IT Infrastructure outsourcing engagement.
We don't do Business Process Reengineering/Outsourcing.
We don't do ERP Implementations.
We don't do Business or Strategy Consulting.
We don't do shared web server hosting.

Company Background
In the mid 1990's, Connectria's CEO and founder, Rich Waidmann, recognized that nearly all companies were running IT Infrastructures (data centers, servers, networks, databases, applications) that used the same core technologies and skill sets as every other company. With nearly 20 years in the IT industry, Rich realized there would be significant economies of scale by creating a world-class commercial IT Department that could support IT Infrastructures for hundreds of clients. So in 1996, Rich set out to create a better model to deliver IT Infrastructures and founded Connectria Corporation.

From day one, Connectria was built from the ground up as a world-class Virtual IT Department focused on the needs of large and mid-sized companies. Rich began by assembling a talented team of software engineers, systems engineers, network engineers, and database administrators from some of the top IT organizations in the world. Then in 1998, Connectria built its first 10,000 sq. ft fault-tolerant World Class Data Center in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1999 Connectria opened its world-class Network Operations Center (NOC) staffed 24/7 with skilled technicians. In 2001 Connectria opened its second fault-tolerant World Class Data Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to provide data center redundancy and disaster recovery. In 2002, Connectria opened its Business Continuity Center in the central US to provide alternate workspace for clients that experience physical disasters to their offices.

As Connectria continued to prosper, its management team saw the opportunity to take Connectria's industry-leading service offerings and create unique offerings targeted at small and mid-sized clients. So in 2005, Connectria opened a Windows & Linux dedicated server hosting division called REDPLAID Managed Hosting. As Connectria's annual growth continued at a rapid rate, Connectria opened its third 10,000 sq. ft. fault-tolerant World Class Data Center in St. Louis, Missouri in 2006. Connectria currently has the capacity to host and manage approximately 10,000 servers in our three facilities. We expect to open additional data center & NOC facilities in the western United States and Europe in order to support our continued growth.

Today, Connectria is one of the fastest growing, most-successful technology companies in the US as ranked by Deloitte Touche. We are privately held by our management team with no debt or outside investors. Thus, we are beholden to no one except our customers that include 3M, A.G.
